But a genius as well. He mostly keeps to himself and is prone to withholding information, mumbling to himself, and being seemingly uninterested in things and people around him, giving him a preoccupied air. In reality, he's much, much more observant than he lets on, filing little details and observations away to use them as it suits him. He is a skeptic a firm believer in science and methods of the mind, scoffing at the suparnatural and spiritual and so forth. If he cannot see it, then no, it really isn't there. However, the man also has a God complex, and he's obssessed with trying to prove himself wrong, especially when it comes to Jenova. He went so far as to inject his pregnant lover with the DNA of Jenova, as well as himself, years later. Hojo has no moral restrictions or pesky guilt to bother him when it comes to his actions. Anything is acceptable in the name of science or furthuring his own goals. To this end, he's done a great many experiments on both willing and unwilling participants, going so far as to genetically alter subjects, replace limbs, inject Jenova DNA into many of his victims, and even attempt to breed two entirely different species. He kills anyone who gets in his way without hesitation, though he prefers to let other people get their hands dirty for him if at all possible. He's a private person, manipulating and using people to his own whims without ever explaining himself or giving away his intentions. He's a workaholic and obsessive compulsive, as well as a neat freak. He also smokes. Despite his absolutey charming personality, the women just love him. Must be the labcoat.
